NLP has submitted a planning application on behalf of North East Property Partnership (NEPP) for a major new education and training facility at Team Valley, Gateshead. The development for Gateshead College, includes the creation of a new sustainable construction training facility which will offer vocational training for over 400 local people and foster close educational links with existing businesses.
This proposal builds upon other recent NLP successes for Gateshead College at Team Valley including the development of the Automotive Centre of Excellence and the North East’s first full service Automotive Training Centre.
Ian Kettlewell, Associate Director at NLP, commented ‘We are delighted to be involved once again in NEPP’s continued investment programme in Team Valley and assisting in securing the re-use of a prominent, vacant site for high quality vocational training and employment facilities.’
